I am trying to back up a SQL Server 2000 dbs to another server. The server
that the dbs resides on is Windows 2000 Server and the Server I am trying to
connect to is Windows 2003 Server. I can map the drive through windows
explorer that I want to write to and the rights to write to it but when I
enter the same network path in the back up GUI it says that it cannot find
it.
Just FYI I have a 3rd server that I am trying to do the same thing with and
that one writes perfectly to the same server with no issues what so ever.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
-ChrisMake sure that SQL Server is running under a domain account - with the
appropriate read/write privileges.
